James Woodcock

I’ve spent the last 15 years immersed in additive manufacturing, working on content and strategy for the industry’s leading media and events brands globally. I’ve written case studies and white papers and moderated conferences; I’ve hosted webinars and panel sessions; recorded podcasts and videos.

I love the industry and believe in the technologies, but I believe that AM is in a bit of a funk. It’s a solution looking for a problem. And we (the Royal We) spend a lot of time preaching to the converted.

There is a bright future for additive but getting to it means changing the way we talk and who we talk to.

I help companies focus on the manufacturing and less on the additive.

Gemma Walsh Woodcock

I believe that technical marketing should entertain and inform audiences. My background in video production and filmmaking sparked my passion for driving conversations and creating engaging technical content.

Over the last 10 years I have been working with technical marketing teams to help them translate their knowledge and engage their target audience. I have developed webinars, education programmes, improved technical training resources and ran community events and newsletters across engineering and manufacturing.

My passion is helping people be better communicators and storytellers. I have the great pleasure of hosting the Manufacturing Sustainability Agents of Change podcast where I talk with the people leading the conversation in manufacturing sustainability.
